Christine Van Cauwenberghe

Head of Financial Planning, IG Wealth Management

Christine joined IG in 2001 after practicing tax and corporate law at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman in Winnipeg for seven years. She became Vice-President, Tax & Estate Planning in 2015. Christine holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Manitoba. She is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional and Registered Retirement Consultant and holds the TEP designation from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Christine is the author of Wealth Planning Strategies for Canadians, which is published annually by Thomson Carswell

Craig Hughes

Director Tax & Estate Planning, IG Wealth Management

Craig joined IG Wealth Management in 2005. He specializes in providing advice to high-net-worth clients on retirement planning, estate planning, and charitable giving. Craig obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Manchester, England. Craig holds the CFP® designation and has been recognized as a member of FP Canada’s President’s List by placing first nationally in the CFP® examination. Craig is a Trust & Estate Practitioner, as certified by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and has obtained the Master Financial Advisor in Philanthropy (MFA-P™) designation.

Kevin Dopko

Asst. Vice-President, Private Wealth Management

Kevin has a strong passion for helping families design personalized financial plans that not only grow their wealth but also preserve it for future generations. He is equally committed to guiding Canadians in creating meaningful legacies through thoughtful intergenerational planning and purposeful charitable giving. Kevin and family all share a deep commitment to giving back to their community. Kevin currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region and actively volunteers with Optimist International and 100 Men of Wilmot Who Give a Damn.
